Children

Our children are important to us.  Children are always welcome in worship.  Ask the usher for an activity bag to help keep your child engaged. We have Sunday School most Sundays (except in the summer) at 10 am.  Our children join us after the peace.  Perodically four times a year we have Celebrating the Seasons – a day-long time of teaching for our children with drama and crafts that emphasizes the season of the church year e.g. Lent, Easter or Pentecost. We also have Vacation Bible School in early July and once a month we have a children’s service where our young people lead us in reading scripture, ushering and in gathering around the altar.  Call the church office for the schedule.

Youth

Our lively youth group includes kids from 8 to 18 who are actively involved in the diocese and the community which includes Stop Hunger Now, Diocesan events, participating in the walk for autism awareness and fundraising, providing assistance in senior citizen facilities, presenting a remarkable Passion Play every Good Friday, attending diocesan retreats and lock-ins, and taking a variety of field trips for education and fun. They are also active in fundraising through car washes, breakfasts, and special events. It is a warm and welcoming group led by three caring adults who focus on recreation and spiritual development. The youth group meets twice a month after the 10 am service.  Please call Ralph Richardson, one of our leaders, for more information - 732-407-1955.
