aNNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF May 18th
On Sunday, May 25 at 5 pm, we will launch "Communion By the Bay" a brief outdoor Service on the lawn of Bayview Park. This service will be offered the last Sunday of each month through August.
Our next Vestry Meeting is May 27th at 7pm.
On Wednesday, May 28th at 4 pm, Toms River Town Council is scheduled to take public comment and make a final decision on the land-seizure ordinance of Christ Church in Toms River to develop a waterfront park. The Diocese of New Jersey will be present to oppose this. You can also make your feelings about the Toms River Council's proposed ordinance and potential seizure of Christ Church known by signing the petition Mother Lisa Hoffman, the Rector of Christ Church, submitted to Change.org. On Thursday, May 29th at 7 pm, we will celebrate the Feast of the Ascension at Holy Trinity in South River with all the churches and clergy of our Convocation. All are welcome.
The Parish Picnic is postponed. We are hoping to have this event in September. Stay tuned for details.
