aNNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF June 8th
We had a wonderful Homecoming Brunch on Sunday. We would like to thank Cislyn Smith, Maureen Erickson, Eleanor Lewis and the choir for set up and the delicious brunch. We also want to thank Chris for doing clean-up.
The Prayer List is published in the ENews since May 28th for your quick access. Please submit (or resubmit) the names of individuals with the prayer intention you would like us to pray for to the Office. Their names will be removed from the prayer list after two months; at which time you may resubmit their name if additional prayers are required. Please contact the Office if you or your family member is interested in a Pastoral Home visitor from our Rector. Remember to leave a phone number for a return call. Together, our prayers can make a difference.
We are having a Juneteenth Celebration on Thursday, June 19th at 7pm. The event will begin in our church with music and prayer. If weather permits, we will have a Celebration March, which will end at the Ferry Slip. At the Ferry Slip, we will have a speaker, prayers and more music. The entire event will take approximately 90 minutes.
The 340th Anniversary Steering Committee will meet during Coffee Hour on Sunday, June 22nd at 11:30am on the 2nd floor meeting room of the Parish House. Please stop by and sign-up to help with one or many of the events we will have as we celebrate our 340th year of the continuous service as the Body of Christ her in Perth Amboy, NJ.
We will have the Men and Women's Ministries on Monday, June 16th at 7pm.
Our next Vestry Meeting is June 24th at 7pm.
Join us for a magical exploration of the Harry Potter For All Ages Bible Study on Friday, June 27th from 6pm - 9pm and Saturday, June 28th from 10am - 1pm. We'll be using the books and movies as a springboard to discuss faith, values, and biblical principles. Whether you're a hardcore fan or just curious, come learn and grow our faith together. RSVP to the office by June 23rd. If you are interested helping, please let Fr. Fabian know as soon as possible.
