St. Peter's is present in the community in a variety of ways from working with those in need to providing space for community groups to meet.

Outreach

St. Peter’s serves the community through numerous outreach efforts. Peter’s Pantry provides food to the community weekly on Thursdays 10 am - 12pm. While in season, members tend to the Community Garden to offer fresh produce to the community. Christmas gifts are provided to the children of Peter’s Pantry.

Our parish house provides space for many community programs including two Narcotics Anonymous groups, an Alcoholics Anonymous group, Coptic Church, Boy Scouts, and The Royal Garden Club of Perth Amboy.

Pastoral Care

If you are in the hospital or home-bound, our clergy and lay eucharistic visitors will be happy to visit you and bring communion. There are also several opportunities to receive blessings from our annual animal blessing service and blessing of your home.
