Observing Lent

Below you will find ways to observe Lent from in person classes to online meditations. Click here for ideas for Children and Lent.

ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICES  are March 1 at 12:15 pm and 7:30 pm. We are also doing Ashes to go at the Perth Amboy Train Station from 6:15 and to 8:30 on March 1st.  Christ Episcopal Church will be at the South Amboy Train Station at the same times.

OUR LENTEN CLASS, SPEAKING OUR FAITH will be held during Lent on Wednesdays at 7 pm beginning March 8 and ending April 5, 2017.  Our baptisms says we are to “proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ.” Some of us are afraid; some are uncomfortable; some are not even sure what it is that we really believe. Speaking Our Faith can help us figure out what words will work for each of us as we make that proclamation. "This course will help you learn to share your faith and see your own faith grow deeper.”
