Music

The choir, led enthusiastically by R. Douglas Sheldon, and accompanied brilliantly by organist Jon Tyillian, consists of parishioners as well as students and graduates of Westminster Choir College. They lead and support congregational singing as well as offering splendid anthems and solos to the glory of God. They also offer special programs and concerts including the annual Festival of Lessons and Carols during Advent, programs for church milestones such as the 325th anniversary in 2010, the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the Service of Repentance and Reconciliation, and other special events. The choir generally rehearses before and after the 10:00 service on Sunday. It is officially on hiatus during July and August, but continues to provide music less formally.
